E – vent

E-vent is a Rover run camp for Venturers and other Rovers. Each year has a different theme and is run by a different Rover crew. It has been successfully running for over 25 years. Participants are split into teams for the duration of the activities, and compete against the other teams. Teams are scored on their completion of the event, teamwork, attitude, and effort.The camp is traditionally held at Camp Kasota on Sylvan Lake. Everyone sleeps in heated cabins and there are flush washrooms. Food will be provided, and there is a dining hall, so the only food, you need to bring are snacks and bribes. Costumes are another strong tradition of the camp, you will be given an hour before dinner to dress up, apply make-up, etc, etc.The camp runs from Friday evening until noonish Sunday Due to the popularity of the camp we have had to put an 80 participant cap, register early or be stuck on the waiting list. Participants are Venturers, other rovers, and advisors.
